What is F1 ChampBoat Racing?

140 mph on water!
380 hp at 8,700 rpm!
0 to 100 mph in 6 seconds!

Picture this… 28 racing rockets modeled after F-16 fighter jets with the biggest outboard engines in the world all lined up beside each other.

In each cockpit a lone pilot holds the steering wheel in one hand and the start button on the other anxiously waiting for the starting flag. A one minute flare goes off, and then tension heightens. An eerie silence descends over the area; you can hear a pin drop and a spectator cough is met with glares from the crowd. Any time from 20 seconds to 0 seconds the flag is dropped and highly tuned engines burst to life as 28 rockets storm away with a giant fountain of white spray.

The first person to the commitment pin is the leader followed by three or four rivals only inches behind. The second and third place boats are almost invisible because of the spray from their rooster tails yet the drivers keep the throttle wide open.

This is what F1 ChampBoat Racing is all about, people with little fear and an abundance of skill, competing against each other.

Two boats touch and head skyward with a huge gasp from the crowd as the boats fly end over end and land in a gigantic splash and the rescue boats head towards the scene. Within minutes both drivers are heading toward shore waving to the crowd as their boats are towed to shore.

Then it’s back to the starting dock for the re-start with all the same tension as at the start of the race and we’ve witnessed the spectacle of F1 ChampBoat racing at its best.

Drivers endure brain numbing G forces as they take 90 degree turns at over 90 mph often with zero visibility. Maybe they're crazy, but these gladiators of the sea step into the cockpit in search of that most exclusive title… being F1 ChampBoat Champion.
